In the top right corner (between rafters). Locals report that a scout master accused of child molestation committed suicide by hanging himself from the rafters.

We believe this is simply an anomaly but the curious part is that no other investigation in this location has produced so many anomalies for us.

Built in 1818 by Col. William Brown, the Handy House now stands abandoned. Current rehabilitation projects are under way.

Col. William Brown left Cynthiana following the untimely death of his two children. He believed that one of his house servants poisoned them.

In the basement of the Handy House is a series of rooms serving various purposes. One such room is rumored to have been a holding cell for unruly slaves. The wooden bars on the window help support the claim. It was also reported that shackles once hung from the walls.

Built by Daniel Boone's nephew, Waveland was once a prominent landmark in Lexington during the 19th century. Reported activity centers around the original family members.

One of the bedrooms with original furniture. The door to the armoire is reported to open and close on its own. We were able to witness this event while investigating.

Built in 1790, the Old Log Cabin is the oldest building in Cynthiana. Henry Clay once ran his Law practice from the Cabin. Reported activity included apparations, voices and poltergeist activity. Following the flood of 1997, activity has been reported to have all but disappeared...

An old "ball and chain" laying on the basement floor is a reminder of the cabins past.
